Our chapter brings together a diverse group of HR pros from across the Treasure Coast. We focus on providing helpful programs, tools, and connections that support our members both professionally and personally.
We got our start in 1985 as the Martin County Personnel Management Association—a place for local HR professionals to share ideas and grow in their careers. Today, we’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with more than 100 members and a commitment to advancing the HR profession in our community.
Our mission is simple: promote high standards in HR by offering ongoing learning, resources, networking, and support for our members and the community.
What is a 100% Chapter?
An HR Martin County membership is free to those SHRM members who designate us as their primary chapter. All members of this local chapter must be members of SHRM. New members must either be a current SHRM member OR must sumbit a SHRM application along with their HR Martin application. Partnership with SHRM at this level has allowed us to provide a higher level of service and educational resources to our membership. Annual renewal requires each member to submit proof of current, active SHRM membership.
